Stanford adds Florida forward
Johnny Dawkins and his Cardinal staff received some quality help on their front line with the addition of former Florida commit, 6-8 Schuyler Rimmer from Orlando, FL Boone High according to the Orlando sentinel.
“Every visit went well,” Rimmer tolf the Sentinel. “What it really came down to was that I felt like at Stanford I’d be able to develop into the best possible player!”
Rimmer is a skilled buig man who averaged 16.4 points and 13.1 rebounds an outing as a junior last winter. He has the tools to step out and face-up from 17-feet, acttack hoop off the dribble, or pick, then roll to the block and score with either hand. He will add immediate depth for Dawkin’s squad as a freshman, but has potential to be good one for the Cardinal, so stay tuned.
He chose Stanford over Vanderbilt, USC, and Virginia.
